More about Eva S....
What do you love about your job?
Having my camera with me ,is almost like a mini pass where I get to travel, meet people, and capture experiences that are important to those people at that time. My 'office' is everywhere, inspiration is everywhere ,I love that!
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have photographed families out an about on location and in their homes. These session are all about the wonderful families I meet, and capturing that sense of belonging and 'this is who we are'. I like to listen to what they have to say about themselves and what they expect from the shoot. Communicating constantly before ,during and after the shoot helps them relax and feel confident about the shoot. Connecting with the kids is the best part, letting them be themselves. The whole experience is like an adventure for them, its fun for them, their parents and for me! Food and branding shoots are at different pace all together ! Its great to be able to show people images of their products ,the way they have envisioned them and more! Bringing the shoot to them, on their premises, and putting together a set,is convenient for them ,and allows me the opportunity to have better understanding and feel for that they are after. Being able to style a shoot to create stunning images that suits the brief, wether that be simple, crisp and punchy images,or something with little more dramatic, keeps my creative side active! Attention to detail and a lot of patience is essential to being a good photographer.
