More about Dale G....
What do you love about your job?
Real estate photography gives me a chance to use my eye for detail and composition to provide a valuable service for people. I love traveling to sites, not having regular work hours, meeting all kinds of people, and producing a beautiful, quality product.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Shooting real property and landscapes, I may be struck by a scene or a space, but it usually takes some analysis and experimentation to find the camera view that best depicts what I find striking.
Many people have done landscapes of my city, but I was out next to the river one evening and saw what might be a beautiful view. I took my drone out low over the water and made a panorama including the city and the bridge. It turned out stunning and moody, because I had taken the time to figure out the right vantage point, and also heightened it in post processing to lighten up the river and give a cooler temperature to the scene.
A fun fact about this photographer
I've played guitar all my life, but had let my skill lapse somewhat, and took advantage of the pandemic to practice, practice, practice. I built up a repertoire of over 80 songs, and now I can finally sing and play at the same time!
