More about Chris L....
What do you love about your job?
I love the collaborative process, working together with a client to bring an image to life. I also really love helping people to bring out the best sides of themselves and their creations, capturing a part of them that the rest of the world doesn’t usually see.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I have done many portraits in the past and have tried to make each and every shoot feel unique. I keep things relaxed and positive and give clear feedback and work together with the client to capture the moment they’re after. I also bring a speaker and ask the client to select some music to listen to - it really makes a huge difference in helping them feel comfortable and helps me to know them a bit better too!
I’ve also done a lot of food shoots and I try to make sure each one matches the feel of the restaurant. I bring props and lighting to help make the food look its best and try to involve the client as much as possible to make sure the photos respect the food story they want to tell.
