More about Charles G....
What do you love about your job?
I love using my camera to tell a story. Whether that is a story about the home you might want to buy, a trail through the mountains, an event downtown, or a feeling that my subject shows in their face. My camera is my eye. I compose and create through the lens.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
My real estate photography is special in the way I see a home and compose the image; its flow, its structure, and its livable space. I try to show the reality of the house at its very best without exaggeration. My images should make a person want to learn more in a very honest way. My nature photography focuses on the grand and sometimes intimate scale that is in front of me. I try to experience what I see through my lens. When working with people, I attempt to show them in ways that are honest and moving. We each have our strengths and as a photographer, I try to expose those strengths and the depth of the individual.
A fun fact about this photographer
I am a trumpeter and play with a local community orchestra. I've played music all my life and have been an active performer of classical, jazz, and blues. I also enjoy building projects including refurbishing my home, building decks, and designing and constructing furniture.
