What do you love about your job?

I love watching my clients in the aftermath of seeing their photos - gauging their reactions, their emotions, their joy and their excitement. To capture a great image is, in my opinion, to become cousins with perfection. When it works, it is a thing of beauty. You can never take the same photo twice.

What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?

I have primarily done lifestyle brand shoots, travel shoots, headshots, and portrait sessions. For each type of shoot, I always try to establish the vision of the client first. From there, I do everything I can to make the shoot fun and without stress. It is important to me that every shoot is an enjoyable process, and I believe the overall experience is just as important as the final product.

A fun fact about this photographer

I constructed a wood cabin in the bed of my pickup truck and created a how-to series on YouTube that currently has half a million views. I have also written three movies and two television pilots, one of which won distinction in the Academy's Nicholl Fellowship competition.
