More about Andrew W....
What do you love about your job?
No two projects are the same. One day I might be covering a political demonstration as a photojournalist, the next I’m in a studio fine-tuning the details of a product shoot. Being a good photographer means being adaptable and quick on your feet, and I love the challenge.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I’ve shot everything from fast-moving news events and political demonstrations to studio productions and commercial campaigns. What makes a shoot stand out isn’t just the subject but how I approach it—whether it's having to adapt to an unpredictable location shoot, fine-tuning details in the studio, or making sure images fit into a larger visual strategy. The best shoots are the ones that come together in a way that feels natural—even obvious—where you don’t see all the twists and turns it took to get there.
A fun fact about this photographer
I’ve shown up in major news broadcasts while covering protests and demonstrations—just another day at work.
