What do you love about your job?
Whether it's a special moment, anticipated event or product birthed from considerable effort, it's such a joy to use my talent as a photographer to help my client capture the story of their project and then share that with the world.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
Portraits, commercial lifestyle, events, documentary, narrative feature – I’ve done a range of shoots throughout my career. Highlights are a commercial shoot in a working hospital, a feature documentary on the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, 30+ commercial lifestyle shoots plus many, many more. From casting, to location scouting, props, make-up, mood boards, to the shoot itself, each project is unique and I bring a systemic process as well as an enthusiastic attention to detail that results in a project aligned with the original goal.
A fun fact about this photographer
When I moved to NYC (from Austin, TX) I was a working actor and won a Best Actor award for the lead role in a feature Rom-Com about a musician. But no, sadly I don't play any instruments - didn't get the music gene. :,-(
