More about Anabel A....
What do you love about your job?
What do I love most about being a photographer? I think the biggest gift of this profession is the invitation and experience of bearing witness to the deepest intimacies of life, the joy of a mother after birth or at graduation, the tear in the groom's eye as he sees his bride for the first time, the pride of the chef who's new restaurant will be featured on the front page of an upcoming publication. These are very intimate moments and to be invited in, as a stranger, is what I find to be the greatest part of my job.
What types of shoots have you done and how did you make them special?
I've photographed a wide array of types of shoots. From the feedback I get, across the board, what I do well in any situation, is to make people feel comfortable. I connect with people to showcase their story in the best and most authentic light. I think because I naturally feel a little awkward in front of the camera I come with a sensitivity that brings down the mask and let's me see and capture the authenticity.

I've been published as a contributor in many regional magazines.
