Nikon D850, Nikon D600 Herminio Rodríguez born in Madrid, Spain in 1971 and raised in Puerto Rico, Owns and holds a Photography Studio in San Juan, Puerto Rico and works around the World.
Herminio Rodriguez is a Professional Commercial and Conceptual photographer, and holds a Master in Fine Arts in Photographic Arts and Science from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. Through his photographic work, Rodriguez explores the mystery of the marginality of society in a conceptual but in a very straightforward way. In November 2011, Rodriguez won First Prize and Acquisition Prize of FOTO MAC, the First Fine Art Photography contest sponsored by the Puerto Rico Contemporary Art Museum and UBS. Rodríguez, also owns a photography studio in San Juan and do works as a commercial photographer, and as a stringer photojournalist for agencies and newspaper such as: The Guardian, UK, The Associated Press, The New York Daily News, The New York Times, among others. Moreover, Rodriguez does customs-art photography projects and show for different and exclusive clients, curators, and galleries that trust in his photographic experience, his conceptual perception of photography and image making, and his imagination. In 2015 Rodríguez produced a photographic campaign in Puerto Rico called Contaminados (FB #contaminados) to create the awareness of the use of coal as an electric energy source. Since 2000, Rodríguez has worked in a long term photography documentary project about Santiago Apostol (St. James) procession in Loíza, Puerto Rico as a heritage study of religious syncretism which he hopes to concludes with a publication of book and a photography exhibition.
Currently, Rodriguez works as a freelance photographer with a home portrait studio in Chicago.
