Los Angeles Automotive Photographers

I have spent my entire adult life either behind or in front of the camera. I have an extensive background in television/film as a creative and performer. I’ve shot full length films and television pilots, as well as dozens of short films and music videos. I’ve worked as an onset photographer for multiple productions and have shot private clients for over 5 years independently as well as with my sister, a well known Portland based photographer, Natalie Gildersleeve.

Jonathan has been professionally shooting for about 2 years now - starting off with couples and weddings, and quickly pivoting from that industry to his real passion: cars. His creative outlet of photography comes from a place of creating questions within the viewers mind when they look at his photos - having them escape from their day to day to enjoy the beauty and art that is on four wheels. Jonathan thinks photographs can tell all kinds of stories and it’s up to each photographer to combine the right amount of light, texture and other variables to create the one that they want to tell.
