Was liebst du an deinem Job?
Photography is a passion for me. When I worked as an analyst, in the military, and even my time as a compliance manager, that was work. Photography is my atmosphere, it's what gives me purpose. There is nothing else I'd rather be doing, so it really isn't a job. There has never been a time, when I was behind my lenses, that I didn't love what I was doing.
Welche Shootings hast du schon gemacht und wie hast du sie besonders gemacht?
I have done a variety of shoots, but I always apply the same method in making each one special by understanding my client's goals, getting to know their products, target audience, and what makes them unique. I never tell my client what they want. I listen and create with them to achieve the images they want most. When working with portraits, I get to know the executive, who they are, and who they want to be seen as. When I work with products, real estate, etc., I learn to use the product, walk through the property and think of the type of buyer being targeted and that's what I look to capture through my lenses. My motto is "Your Life, My Lenses". I capture your vision.

As a kid, I wanted to learn how to develop camera film myself. However, my grandfather allowed me access to the garage to practice developing while supervised. One night after bedtime, I tried to sneak out to the garage with nothing on but pajamas, in 22-degree weather. I forgot to take the keys with me and locked myself out of the house. It was then I realized the key to the garage was on the same keychain as the house keys. After about 45 minutes, my grandfather felt I learned a lesson about sneaking out at night and let me back in. He had been watching me that entire time through a window. He said to me, "Junior, don't let what you love to do, get you in a place you hate being". I realized that talent can get you places your character can't sustain you, the next day he bought me my first polaroid camera and some long johns.
