Was liebst du an deinem Job?
I am also a filmmaker. I love watching movies because there is something magical about making the story come to life. When I watch films, I pay attention to the story, details, acting, clothing, theme, lighting, sound, location, expressions, production value, editing technique, and feeling. I applied the same principles to photography. A character of a person or models is actors and actresses. Photography is still capturing while filmmaking is motion picture/motion capture. The very same reason that I love about my job is to create a story and capture it through photography. Photography is painting with light. I love the way gear felt in my hands, editing images and printing. I love to see the expression on people's faces when they review the images. Photography is part of the love of my life. It keeps me motivated and stress-free.
Welche Shootings hast du schon gemacht und wie hast du sie besonders gemacht?
I have done fashion, studio, portraiture, family, weddings, lingerie, boudoir, and events. I made them special by using my signature style. The most part is all about the lighting, location, story, color grading, and preferred choice of equipment. I made it special by using the same principles from the filmmaking world. Mastering my craft was the key to helps me stand out more as an artist in both worlds (photography and filmmaker). I study from old masters to old school photographers and understand how lighting plays out. My signature style also applies to my editing workflow. Keep it nice and natural without overdoing it.
