Was liebst du an deinem Job?
The most wonderful thing about my job of course is traveling. Photography opened the doors of the world to me. First, my close world, my islands, then the borders were expanding and I had the opportunity to visit almost all of Europe, many countries in Africa and now America. My life thanks to photography has become a wonderful journey, both geographically, around the world, and inwardly, in which I have learned to be the person I am today.
Welche Shootings hast du schon gemacht und wie hast du sie besonders gemacht?
Since I learned about photography, I have done many types of photography, it has been and is being a wonderful journey. In the beginning, I started a lot with experimental photography, I wanted to know what the limits of photography were and to this day I have realized that it does not have them, art is unlimited. Travel photography has also been a very important part of my life. I have worked extensively in the fields of fashion, architecture, industrial photography, and food photography, fields that I believe I master with some skill. And there is something that keeps me close to photography every day, and that is to continue making my personal artistic work with black and white or color film, I have never abandoned the photochemical, something that I am passionate about, isolating myself from the world and creating my own. The fields mentioned above connect me to the world and people.
Erhaltene Preise, Ehrungen und Anerkennungen
The greatest award I have ever received has been meeting the woman of my life when we were teenagers and having a wonderful daughter.
In the field of photography, I was awarded the highest award that is given to an artist on my island, in this case in the field of visual arts, this was in 2010, for my photographic work "El Pueblo Olvidado" ( The Forgotten People ) that I did for three years in the Sahrawi refugee camps in the Sahara desert.
