Colleen Longstaff has a love of food, styling and food photography and each photo captured brings the food to life, telling it's own story.

She started in her own kitchen, collecting props, backdrops and spending a lot of time cooking, just so she could tell a story about the food! She has completed photography and Adobe Lightroom training and courses through Rachel Korinek and Lauren Bath and is always looking for the next plate to snap!

She loves bringing food to life through the lens and each photo has her clients mouths watering and reaching through the photo to take a bite.

In her quiet time, mornings, she can usually be found at the beach, capturing the sunrise and marvelling it's beauty.

Was liebst du an deinem Job?

Story telling in different ways. Not through people, but through food and nature. The things that people normally bypass each day and take for granted are captured in a way that they admire, appreciate and enjoy.

Welche Shootings hast du schon gemacht und wie hast du sie besonders gemacht?

Primarily food. It excites me to create and style food and bring the client's food to life in a way they or their customers never imagined. It could be a memory of my childhood, something or someone that has inspired me or a creative idea that simply comes to life when I see the menu or meet the owners.

I make them special because I believe my work is unique in it's story telling. My work takes you to a memory, a place, a country - it's not just a photo of a plate of food, it's a feeling.
