Beyond clear expertise in his craft, Maris is a genuinely kind and thoughtful photographer. Simon, our dog, was the main focus of our photo shoot. We’d lost Simon’s littermate just six months ago to cancer and now we’re facing a similar scenario with him. Simon’s dad and I were beyond grateful for the care and compassion shown not just to us, but to our Boy. Maris turned a difficult moment into something joyful—a moment that took away our stress, if only for a short time. Peiran was so good with the kids and going with what made everyone comfortable. He was flexible and catered to our suggestions as well as offered his own recommendations who I loved. He was also very understanding when we had to cut it short due to some people feeling sick / losing energy and even said he’s willing to come back again to make up the time.
