About Maria Astra, I’ve been a professional photographer for 11 years in New York. My first camera was given to me by my father when I was 10 years old. Since then photography has been my passion and ultimately became my profession. I have an artistic vision. I studied at an Art school in St. Petersburg I also graduated from the Academy of photography. My goal is to create beautiful photographs and make people look their best. I have experience with various types of photoshoots including Fashion, Modeling Headshots, Professional and Corporate headshots, Corporate Events, Personal, Portraits, Interior, Products, StillLife, Jewelry.

After finishing my Master's degree in Material Formation and Control Engineering, I gradually developed an intense interest in filmmaking. I intend to continue making films and hope to see my knowledge of engineering married to my passion for cinema as my career matures.
