About the role:
As an Occupational Health Nurse (Fixed Term), your mission is to implement Health and Safety programs and assess health risks in the Snappr Manila office. You will also be responsible for promoting and sustaining a healthful and safe workspace by standardizing and executing timely initiatives. The ideal candidate should be highly adept in handling any urgent healthcare and safety-related concerns that may arise.
What you'll do
- Outpatient Clinic Nurse
- Evaluate and treat resultant injuries and illnesses of employees
- Dispense over-the-counter medications to employees
- Manage inventory of medicines and clinic supplies
- Direct patients to healthcare facilities if further examinations are needed
- Promptly coordinate with a response team and ambulance service in emergency situations
- Contact tracing and tracking of employees’ vaccination status
- Collect and monitor antigen results for non-vaccinated employees every two (2)weeks
- Administer vaccines and tests for possible COVID-related vaccination or testing initiatives in the future
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Provide a safe working environment by inspecting the office for possible health hazards
- Secure office and clinic compliance with all Health and Safety requirements, policies, and rules set by various government regulatory bodies
- Regularly review the regulations set and relay any updates to all the Snappr employees
- Investigate and document any accidents that occurred then carry out the refinement of preventive measures
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate health and safety training records Present regular reports on all relevant health and safety projects
- Conduct mandatory safety training for all employees
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Check and validate sickness and maternity notifications before endorsing to SSS for confirmation
- Compute and finalize SSS sickness and maternity payments and confirm the accuracy of data
- Process employees’ HMO and assist them with their claims and related concerns
- Schedule employees for Pre-Employment Medical examinations (PEME) and Annual Physical Exams (APE)
- Assess healthcare needs, develop, and implement health and well-being improvement programs
- Keep the confidentiality and validity of employees’ medical records
What you'll need:
- At least 1 year of working experience as a corporate nurse or similar role
- Must be a Registered Nurse (PRC)
- Exceptional people skills and a skilled communicator
- Great organizational and prioritization skills
- Can effectively manage to work under pressure
- Basic Occupational Health and Safety (BOSH) Training is an advantage
